HIS Nets is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization founded by T. Thomas and his daughter Andi in March, 2004. HIS Nets found its genesis in the missionary experiences of the Thomas family in Africa. While serving there, Lindsi, one of their daughters, had a near-death experience with malaria. Since that time the Thomas family have held a desire to make a difference in the fight against this deadly disease of malaria.

One of his daughters, Whitni Thomas, who works in the non-profit sector in London, pointed out that malaria is more of a killer than AIDS. She wondered why so many religious and non-profit organizations were focusing on fighting AIDS, rather than malaria, which kills more people each year and is easily preventable.

Another daughter, Andi Sullivan, who has just graduated from college and is preparing for graduate school, felt that she could not wait until she finished her studies to do something about this problem.
Thus HIS Nets was born.
